The Technical Author will be responsible for creating, updating, and analysing both new and existing Okta and Microsoft Entra service and support documentation. This role focuses on improving the accuracy, consistency, and usability of documentation supporting identity management and SaaS application services.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge Articles (KA) – Okta, Entra, and all SaaS applications.
- Knowledge Articles (KA) – Service Desk procedures and workflows.
- Service Overviews (SO) – Okta, Entra, and all SaaS applications.
- Technical Run Manuals (TRM) – Operational and support documentation for Okta, Entra, and SaaS applications.
- Technical Recovery Action Plans (TRAP) – Business continuity and recovery guides for Okta, Entra, and related services.
ServiceNow Administrative Tasks
- Reviewing and analysing ServiceNow requests related to Okta user groups.
- Creating and maintaining Entra user groups.
- Performing other ServiceNow-related administrative activities as required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Author within IT, Cloud, or Identity Management environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and SaaS application services.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for workflow documentation and request management.
- Experience developing Knowledge Articles, Technical Manuals, and Service Documentation in alignment with ITIL or organizational standards.
- Excellent written communication, analytical, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
