6 Months contract with possible extension. 12+ years of IT experience and minimum of 5+ years of experience on Azure Infra, Azure Migrate, Azure Networking mainly Azure IaaS/PaaS, DC, Cloud, Security, SIAM and Data/Storage areas Azure Key Vault, Azure IAM. Should have worked with a team size of above 5, technically guided, managed and governed the team.
Primary skills:
- Expertise in On-prem/Public cloud Infra assessments using Azure Migrate.
- Driving the cloud Solutioning Azure activities for large complex migration.
- Ensure that the proposed solution covers Azure strategy, stakeholder management as well as the actual solution covering Business, Application and Infrastructure as well as commercial aspects (in terms of value for money).
- Working experience with various industry domains like banking, healthcare, Insurance.
- Understanding customer Infra landscape. Design and build Azure Landing Zone activities.
- Clear understanding of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI (Return on Investment).
- Provide the Azure target architecture and its BoM pricing and licensing related details.
- Azure Target Solutions architect Diagram (all Azure services) including HLD & LLD.
- Migrating on-premise workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate.
- Troubleshooting experience with Azure & Linux environments (Processor, networking, clusters, IO, memory etc. related issues).
- Define & realize end-to-end solution architecture addressing business processes, specifications in a domain regulation, quality attributes of a system and economy of solution.
- Strong knowledge on Linux: Manage storage devices, logical volumes, and file systems, Install & update software packages.
- Strong knowledge in Upgrading/migrating Linux Servers to later versions.
- Strong Knowledge with Backup and restoration of Servers.
- Hands-on experience in restoring OS and Data files from backup.
- Hands-on experience in Control services and daemons: manage services and the boot-up process.
- Hands-on experience in Manage networking: Configure and troubleshoot networking on Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience in configure link aggregation and bridging: Configure and troubleshoot advanced network interface functionality including bonding, teaming, and local software bridges.
- Hands-on experience in managing DNS for servers: DNS records for systems and configure secure DNS caching.
- Hands-on experience in configure and troubleshoot email delivery: Send Mail, Postfix.
- Hands-on experience in Provide file-based storage: Provide NFS exports and SMB file shares to specific systems and users.
- Hands-on experience in Apache HTTPD web service: Configure Apache HTTPD to provide Transport Layer Security (TLS)-enabled websites and virtual hosts.
- Hands-on experience in Execute shell scripting and automation techniques.
- Optimize web server traffic: Improve performance of your web servers by using Varnish to cache static content being served and HAProxy to terminate TLS connections and balance load between servers.
- Tune system performance: Improve system performance by setting tuning parameters and adjusting scheduling priority of processes.
- Ability to provide guidance to other engineers.
- Ability to complete root-cause analysis on complex issues.
- High-end troubleshooting complex issues.
- Strong understanding of security within a UNIX environment.
Secondary Skills:
- Familiarity with configuration management platforms (Chef, Ansible, etc.).
- Experience with scripting/coding in bash, python, Ruby, and/or Perl.
- Experience with development tools such as GIT, Jenkins, etc.
Certifications (Good to have):
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
- Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA).
Soft Skills:
