Requirements

  • We require at least 8+ years of experience.
  • We require senior SRE experience on distributed systems and batch/intraday workloads in a production environment.
  • We require strong Python skills and experience with Python-based applications.
  • We require proven agentic AI experience, including tool integration, guard rails, evaluation approaches, and measurable impact such as toil reduction, MTTR reduction, or alert reduction.
  • We require demonstrated process optimization ability, including removing steps and handoffs, standardizing workflows, and implementing lightweight controls with metrics.
  • We require strong Linux and troubleshooting fundamentals across application, system, and network layers.
  • We require exposure to cloud technologies.
  • We require experience working across mixed estates, including on-prem VMs and cloud, with some Kubernetes exposure for operational monitoring and reruns.
  • We require familiarity with the Athena ecosystem or similar platforms such as Sec DB or Quartz.
  • We require experience in banking, finance, trading, or market risk domains.
  • We require trade lifecycle, market risk, or risk platform experience.

Responsibilities

  • We focus predominantly on automation, optimization, and process re-engineering using AI for the Market Risk Platform.
  • We work on distributed systems and batch/intraday production workloads.
  • We automate and streamline operational processes to reduce toil and improve reliability.
  • We integrate AI tools with appropriate guard rails and evaluation methods.
  • We improve operational metrics such as MTTR, alert volume, and manual handoffs.
  • We support mixed environments across on-premises VMs, cloud, and Kubernetes where needed for monitoring and reruns.
