We are seeking an Infrastructure Automation Architect in London, UK for a 1 year FTC role.
Role Details:
- Define the future process landscape of the end-to-end patching process, including but not limited to patch acquisition, patch certification, patch rollout, and patch reporting across the full portfolio of GTI technologies. This includes both the definition of functional and non-functional requirements as well as the specification of processes capable of delivering to these requirements.
- Define the future tooling landscape across GTI to implement and automate acquisition, certification, rollout, and reporting of patches including but not limited to Network & Storage Devices, Operating Systems (incl. Hypervisors), Runtime Environments (e.g. Containers), Databases, and various other middleware components, both sourced as open-source software or commercial off-the-shelf products.
- Align with other technology and business groups across the bank to facilitate the required process changes and plan the implementation of the tooling landscape.
- Create material to effectively communicate the required changes to all stakeholders - from technical experts to senior management.
Skills:
- 1.5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation in global enterprises at an architect level, experience in implementing large-scale automation projects for core data centre technologies, solid understanding and experience with core infrastructure technologies (especially networks, servers, operating systems, containers, databases), ITSM processes and tooling (especially ServiceNow), reporting & compliance processes, and understanding of cybersecurity, threat, and vulnerability analysis.
- A record of implementing/improving patch processes on an enterprise level is a huge plus.
- Advanced communication, consulting, and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to manage and influence a diverse community of stakeholders.
