Key Responsibilities Data Centre Operations Perform day-to-day data centre operational activities. Execute server installation, decommissioning, racking, stacking, and cabling activities. Monitor data centre infrastructure and respond to operational alerts. Support hardware troubleshooting and replacement activities. Manage physical asset inventory and maintain accurate documentation. Infrastructure Support Support network devices, servers, storage systems, and related infrastructure. Coordinate with remote engineering teams for incident resolution. Perform routine health checks and preventive maintenance. Ensure availability and reliability of critical infrastructure. Vendor & Facilities Coordination Coordinate with on-site vendors and maintenance providers. Support facility activities including power, cooling, and security-related tasks. Escort third-party vendors during maintenance windows when required. Compliance & Security Adhere to data centre security, safety, and compliance requirements. Ensure all activities are performed according to organizational policies and procedures. Support audit and compliance activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 4-8 years of experience in Data Centre Operations or Infrastructure Support. Hands-on experience with servers, storage, and networking equipment. Strong understanding of data centre environments and operational processes. Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management). Experience working in mission-critical environments. Technical Skills Linux and Windows Server administration. Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Switches, Routers). Server hardware troubleshooting. Asset management and documentation. Monitoring tools and ticketing systems. Remote hands and break-fix support.
