PMO Analyst
12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Remote (Must be UK based)
Salary: Up to ÂŁ55,000 per annum
We’re working with a leading professional services group currently undergoing a large-scale transformation programme to streamline IT infrastructure and target operating models across multiple regions. They’re now looking for a PMO Analyst to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract to help establish governance and maturity across their portfolio.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to immature PMO environments, a role where you’ll help shape governance, standardise processes, and coach non-project professionals to deliver successfully.
The Opportunity
This role will sit within the group transformation function, focusing on establishing governance frameworks and maturing the delivery capability of the portfolio; a set of initiatives spanning the UK, Nordics, and wider group entities.
You’ll help build the foundations of a Centre of Excellence, standardising project delivery practices across multiple business units while supporting senior stakeholders and departmental leads who may not have formal project management backgrounds. You’ll be joining a small, high-impact team where your ideas and experience will directly influence how the organisation delivers change over the next 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and mature project governance across multiple business units and portfolios.
- Coach and support department heads (“accidental project managers”) on planning, risk, and delivery.
- Embed PMO best practices and help establish the group’s Centre of Excellence.
- Maintain project controls, RAID logs, resource tracking, and milestone management.
- Contribute to standardising tools (Asana), templates, and processes across the portfolio.
- Support project leaders in benefit tracking, budget management, and reporting.
About You
- 5+ years’ PMO experience, ideally in an immature or developing PMO environment.
- Confident establishing governance structures and frameworks from the ground up.
- A process-driven, tech-minded individual who enjoys bringing order to complexity.
- Skilled at supporting and guiding non-project professionals in a kind, collaborative way.
- Comfortable working in a flexible, fast-paced environment with minimal red tape.
- Experience in financial services, restructures, or operating model programmes.
- Highly desirable: Hands-on experience with Asana.
Why Apply?
- Shape and influence how a major portfolio delivers change across multiple geographies.
- Be part of a growing transformation function, building governance from the ground up.
- Autonomy, flexibility, and direct access to senior stakeholders.
- Remote-first role with occasional London meetings (around once per month).
