We’re supporting a major UK organisation with the appointment of an Interim Project Manager to lead a supplier mobilisation and transition project within their commercial / revenue function. This is a standalone delivery role where you’ll take ownership of a structured mobilisation programme involving the change of property / tenancy management supplier across a large station estate, alongside supporting internal changes to how parts of the service are delivered.
The project is approved, ready to start, and requires a confident PM who can bring structure, manage stakeholders, and keep delivery on track.
The Role- Lead mobilisation of a new property / tenancy management supplier
- Manage handover between outgoing and incoming vendors
- Build and manage detailed project plans
- Coordinate internal SMEs and commercial stakeholders
- Set up KPIs, reporting and delivery milestones
- Support internal team / structure changes linked to the new contract
- Act as a standalone Project Manager driving delivery end-to-end
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across the revenue / commercial team
This is a mobilisation / transition project with defined deliverables, so a structured / waterfall approach is expected.
What they’re looking for- Around 3–4 years Project Management experience
- Able to run projects independently
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with suppliers / vendors / contracts
- Comfortable building plans from scratch
- Confident, organised, and delivery-focused
- Experience in rail, transport, property, FM, retail, supply chain or commercial environments is helpful but not essential.
- Personality is key - they need someone who can keep people aligned, communicate clearly, and get things done.
