The Opportunity
Are you a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a high-stakes, entrepreneurial environment? We are seeking a proactive HR Business Partner to join a global powerhouse in the professional services and infrastructure sector.
The Role: Impact and Accountability
In this role, you aren’t just following a playbook. You are the expert in the room. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, managing the full lifecycle of the employee experience with a specific emphasis on complex Employee Relations.
Key Focus Areas:
- ER Specialism: You will take full end-to-end accountability for complex ER cases (grievances, disciplinaries, performance). As there is no central case management team, you will be the lead architect in navigating risk and delivering solutions.
- Strategic Partnership: Develop and implement people strategies aligned with commercial priorities for the infrastructure division.
- Talent & Succession: Partner with operational stakeholders to identify future leaders and drive robust succession planning.
- Culture & Engagement: Design and execute action plans that foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.
- Coaching: Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to an HR Advisor, ensuring excellence across the People Plan.
The Ideal Profile
We are looking for a "self-starter" who can hit the ground running without needing their hand held.
Experience: 5–10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
The "ER Streak": You must be exceptionally confident in managing complex ER matters independently, with a keen eye for risk mitigation.
Sector Background: Experience in Construction, Real Estate, Engineering, or the Public Sector is a major plus, though we are open to backgrounds in other highly regulated, fast-paced environments.
Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 minimum.
Mindset: You are resilient and adaptable. You thrive in an "act first, detail later" entrepreneurial culture but understand the importance of corporate governance and professional approval paths.
Why Join This Team?
This organization is in a period of rapid, exciting growth. While the environment is fast-paced and the workload is significant, you will be part of a dynamic team that values integrity and proactive problem solving. You’ll be working alongside progressive leaders who actively seek HR’s input on business-critical decisions.
