We are representing a leading organisation within the UK transport sector that is currently navigating a historic period of transformation. As they move toward a major national merger, they are looking for a technical specialist to take ownership of their digital PMO landscape. This is not a traditional PMO administration role. We need a "hands-on" architect to lead the roadmap for a sophisticated, enterprise-level PPM tool built on the Microsoft Power Platform. You will be the technical heart of a PMO that oversees 90 active projects and supports over 40 project managers.
The Mission: Innovate, Automate, and Integrate
As the internal Subject Matter Expert, you will bridge the gap between high-level governance and deep technical development. Your goal is to ensure the business has a "single source of truth" for decision-making through:
- System Evolution: Managing and evolving "Project Prime," an advanced PPM tool leveraging Microsoft Planner, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
- The AI Roadmap: Leading the charge into the future by implementing AI Builder and Copilot Studio to automate risk analysis and lessons learned.
- Data Artistry: Creating high-impact Power BI dashboards using complex DAX and Time intelligence to provide senior leaders with actionable insights.
- Strategic Integration: Optimising workflows between the Power Platform and external tools like DocuSign, SAP, and potentially Primavera P6.
