A newly created role with a reputed renewable energy client of ours, this position sits within a large, well-established finance function going through a major ERP and reporting transformation. It’s designed for someone who can bridge the gap between finance and IT, deliver high-quality Power BI reports, and help embed a modern, self-sufficient reporting culture.
This role will provide immediate impact by building the reporting infrastructure and helping key stakeholders understand, adopt, and own it. There’s complexity, some resistance to change, and legacy ways of working, but also strong leadership backing, autonomy, and the space to make real improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Build and own automated Power BI reports tailored to finance needs
- Translate complex financial data into accessible dashboards and insights
- Work across systems: D365, Anaplan (and legacy tools like Agresso)
- Collaborate closely with finance, IT, and transformation teams
- Support ERP Phase 2 delivery by capturing and representing finance requirements
- Embed smarter, more structured reporting processes across the function
- Potentially line manage a junior team member
- Strong Power BI and Dynamics 365 reporting experience
- Experience with SQL is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of finance and how reporting supports key processes
