Our client, a leading multinational professional services firm, is partway through an enterprise-wide transformation programme – a high-profile, confidential initiative spanning multiple functions across several countries.

Now entering a new phase of delivery, the programme requires an experienced PMO Manager to step in at portfolio level and drive performance across multiple workstreams. You’ll be central to bringing structure, clarity, and pace to one of the largest internal investments this organisation has made to date.

The Role

This is not a traditional PMO post. You’ll be leading from the centre – managing senior stakeholders, shaping delivery frameworks, and driving adoption of tooling (e.g. Asana) across complex, cross-border teams. You’ll also be responsible for managing the relationship with a high-profile consulting partner and ensuring programme-wide issues and risks are proactively surfaced and addressed.

Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio-level PMO oversight across a complex, multi-country transformation
  • Shape and embed tools, reporting, and PMO best practices across all workstreams
  • Lead engagement with the external consulting partner, ensuring alignment and accountability
  • Identify delivery risks early, cut through ambiguity, and bring clarity to stakeholders
  • Communicate complex information clearly and credibly to executive leadership

Essential experience:

  • Proven track record leading PMO at portfolio level within enterprise transformation programmes
  • Experience in complex, multinational environments – professional or financial services experience is strongly preferred
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills , especially at C-suite level
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, fast-paced change, and autonomous delivery
  • Forward-thinking. This role requires someone who does not get bogged down in the day to day, but someone who with demonstrable experience planning ahead to stop risks becoming problems.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail – but also pragmatic and outcome-focused
  • We are looking for someone who builds credibility and trust quickly. Someone who can communicate effectively without the jargon.
