We are supporting a healthcare client with an urgent requirement for an Interim IT Project Manager to rescue and deliver a business-critical patient communications system implementation. This project is in-flight and has a clear onboarding pathway from the software provider, the client now needs an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to take control and drive this programme through to go-live.

The Opportunity

You will act as the key link between internal stakeholders and an established healthcare technology supplier, owning delivery, managing actions, challenging blockers, and ensuring accountability across the business. This is not a role for someone who needs direction. We need a self-starting, delivery-focused operator who can quickly assess what needs doing and make it happen.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years’ experience delivering end-to-end systems implementation projects
  • Proven track record of taking delayed or underperforming projects through to completion
  • Strong stakeholder management with the confidence to challenge, escalate and drive progress
  • Comfortable operating independently with minimal supervision
  • Healthcare systems delivery experience essential
  • Previous DrDoctor implementation experience highly desirable
  • At least 4 years of experience working in the healthcare sector
  • Experience with similar patient engagement / healthcare communication platforms also considered

Key Priorities

  • Re-establish momentum on a delayed implementation programme
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendor resources
  • Own delivery plan, timelines, risks and actions
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to deadlines
  • Deliver initial patient communications functionality urgently, with future modules to follow
