Are you a strategic sales leader? UK-based medical device innovator that is rapidly expanding its team to meet the growing demand for their revolutionary portfolio. This isn't just about hitting a target; it’s about leading a high-performing team to provide patients in renal and oncology therapy areas with the freedom to shower, swim, and stay active while ensuring their treatment remains protected.

The Opportunity

As Regional Business Manager, you will be the commercial driving force behind this mission across London, South East England, and East Anglia. Reporting to the UK Sales Director, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Business Managers and Sales Associates. Working within a referral-based model, you will drive regional commercial strategy, build key opinion leader (KOL) networks, and ensure more patients benefit from products engineered for safety and designed for independence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Commercial Leadership & Growth: Leading, coaching, and mentoring a field-based team of Territory Business Managers and Sales Associates to hit and exceed sales targets, expand market share, and drive revenue growth.
  • Strategic Regional Management: Executing regional business plans aligned with NHS Integrated Care Systems (ICS/ICB frameworks) and local health priorities.
  • Field Coaching & Development: Conducting joint field visits, providing continuous coaching, monitoring team performance, and helping your direct reports execute personal development plans.
  • Patient Advocacy & Market Access: Supporting patient adoption through a clinical-advocacy sales model, securing formulary inclusions, and engaging healthcare stakeholders across community and acute NHS settings.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Partnering with marketing, clinical, and leadership teams to analyse market data, refine value propositions, and forecast performance.

Who You Are

  • Experienced Leader: You have a proven track record of success in medical device or healthcare sales, with direct experience coaching, managing, or leading high-performing commercial teams.
  • EQ-Driven: High emotional intelligence is non-negotiable—you lead with empathy, support patient-centric values, and develop individuals effectively.
  • NHS Expert: You possess a deep, practical understanding of NHS structures, ICB/ICS frameworks, key stakeholders, and prescribing pathways.
  • Strategic & Analytical: You map stakeholders, understand patient pathways, conduct business reviews, and leverage commercial data to drive regional strategy.
  • Autonomous & Accountable: You thrive in a field-based leadership role, balancing regular field engagement across your region with regional planning and administrative execution.

Why Join This Team?

  • Innovative Culture: Join an open, transparent, and supportive business where the culture is actively being built by the people who work there.
  • Impact: Every commercial milestone directly improves the quality of life for people managing long-term health conditions.
  • Reward: Benefit from a highly competitive compensation package, comprehensive bonus structure, and a company car or allowance.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in medical device or healthcare sales management.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring sales professionals.
  • Strong understanding of NHS structures, ICB/ICS landscapes, and prescribing processes.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus) and sales data analytics.
  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility for regular field travel across London, South East England, and East Anglia (plus occasional overnight travel to UK Head Office).
