An innovative, high-growth and scale up biotech organisation is seeking an experienced People Operations & Systems professional to support a critical transformation project within its People function.

Following a period of rapid growth, the business is looking to strengthen its people infrastructure, improve systems and processes, and create a more scalable operating model to support future expansion. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, helping to build robust people operations while driving meaningful change across systems, data, compliance, and employee experience.

Key Deliverables

  • People Systems & Process Improvement: Lead the optimisation of core HR and recruitment systems, improving data quality, reporting capability, automation, and manager self-service functionality.
  • Knowledge & Documentation: Create a centralised, user-friendly people hub that brings together policies, guidance, benefits information, and key resources into a single source of truth.
  • Digital & AI Enablement: Explore opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and AI tools to improve reporting, employee self-service, knowledge management, and operational efficiency.
  • Compliance & Data Integrity: Review and improve employee records, documentation, onboarding processes, and compliance controls to ensure accuracy and best practice standards.
  • People Operations Partnership: Work closely with senior People leadership to identify opportunities for improvement, challenge existing ways of working, and implement scalable solutions.

  • Strong experience within People Operations, HR Systems, or HR Transformation roles
  • Proven track record supporting fast-paced, evolving organisations
  • Advanced HRIS and ATS experience, with confidence managing data, workflows, reporting, and system optimisation

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively
