Overview
The Opportunity: Influence at the Intersection of Tech and Strategy
Are you a senior-level analyst who has outgrown "just dashboarding"? We are seeking a Senior Insight Partner to act as a strategic bridge between technical data engineering and executive leadership. This is not a reactive reporting role; it is a high visibility, proactive partnership designed to influence the commercial roadmap of a global connectivity leader.
You will be embedded within our Maritime Business Unit during a pivotal 18-month transformation, transitioning our global fleet from legacy broadband to a cutting-edge hybrid connectivity solution. This is a chance to define your own roadmap and own the "so what" that drives multi-million-pound decisions.
Your Mission
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a technical bridge, engaging directly with VPs, Presidents, and Senior Directors to challenge assumptions and translate complex datasets into actionable commercial strategies.
- Drive the "Mesh" Evolution: Support the business-critical shift to a roaming-style connectivity model, ensuring our data products underpin successful customer transitions and revenue growth.
- Scalable Insight Delivery: Partner with a central "hub" of data scientists and engineers to develop "product marts" and leverage AI, moving away from manual reporting toward automated, high-value insight products.
- Thought Leadership: Play a key role in developing the Growth Analytics strategic roadmap, proactively retiring low-value outputs to focus on high-ROI initiatives.
What You Bring to the Table
- Technical Core: You are an expert in SQL. You can interrogate deep datasets and perform complex extractions to support commercial insights. Experience with Google Cloud and DBT is highly advantageous.
- Communication Mastery: You possess the "soft skills" to navigate senior leadership circles. You don’t just pull data; you explain what it means for the bottom line.
- An "Evolutionary" Mindset: You are comfortable with Tableau for managing existing estates but have a burning desire to move toward proactive problem-solving and automated alerting.
- Agile & Autonomous: You thrive in a "hub-and-spoke" model where you are the senior individual contributor, managing your own priorities and leveraging central technical resources when needed.
Why Join Us?
- High Impact: You will have genuine face time with the C-suite in both engineering and commercial verticals.
- Innovative Culture: We value curiosity. You’ll have the freedom to test new technologies (AI enthusiasts welcome!) and challenge the status quo.
- Balanced Flexibility: We value the energy of in-person collaboration at our Finsbury Square hub (Tue–Thu) but offer flexibility on start/end times to suit your life.
