As Director of Clinical Trial Recruitment, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of 15–20 professionals and drive strategic initiatives that support ambitious growth plans across early-phase and advanced clinical research programmes. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long‑term participant recruitment and engagement strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 15–20 professionals, including senior managers.
- Drive performance against recruitment targets, timelines, budgets, and quality metrics.
- Support a major systems transformation programme, including CRM implementation.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, standardisation, and process optimisation.
- Develop innovative recruitment approaches for complex therapeutic areas, including rare diseases and advanced therapies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, governance, and data privacy requirements.

- Significant senior leadership experience within a CRO setting.
- Proven success managing senior leaders and large operational teams.
- Strong expertise in participant recruitment, engagement, and retention.
- Experience leading technology, CRM, or operational transformation projects.
- A strong understanding of population sciences, NHS engagement, GDPR, and PECR requirements.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- The ability to thrive in a high‑performance, delivery‑focused environment.
