Business Process Lead – ERP Transformation
12-Month Contract
We are supporting a major ERP transformation and are looking for a senior Business Process Lead to bring clarity and cohesion to how business processes operate across the organisation's systems landscape. While SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is being implemented through a fit-to-standard approach with a Systems Integrator, many core business processes span multiple platforms, legacy tools, and manual workarounds. This role focuses on ensuring the end-to-end business solution makes sense across the wider landscape — not just within SAP.
This isn’t a deep technical infrastructure role. We are looking for someone who has come through a Business Analysis / Business Architecture background, comfortable running workshops, mapping end-to-end processes, and connecting how systems, data, and business activities work together in practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead workshops to map and validate end-to-end business processes
- Ensure processes align across SAP and the wider application landscape (e.g. CRM, HR, legacy platforms, MDM)
- Connect business processes to the systems that support them and clarify how data flows across platforms
- Review existing processes, manual workarounds, and spreadsheets to determine what should stay, what should change, and what can be simplified
- Challenge the Systems Integrator on where functionality and capability should sit
- Ensure SAP configuration aligns with how the wider business solution operates
- Bring alignment across stakeholders where requirements and approaches may currently differ
- Provide practical assurance that the overall solution is cohesive across process, platforms, and operations
Ideal Background
- Strong Business Process Lead / Senior Business Analyst / Business Architect experience
- Experience supporting ERP or enterprise systems implementations (SAP highly desirable)
- Deep understanding of integrated business landscapes and cross-platform processes
- Comfortable running process workshops and challenging assumptions
- Able to work across both business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- Pragmatic, structured approach to bringing clarity within complex programmes
