We're working with an NHS Trust in the South West Midlands who are seeking an experienced Acute Operational General Manager for a Band 8C Fixed Term Contract for 6 to potentially 12 months.
This individual will be a talented leader with a successful track record of improving accountability of staff and achieving a grip on NHS Acute Operational performance - ideally across Cardiology or at the very least Acute Medicine Specialities.
This role has the flexibility of hybrid working, with at least 3 days per week on site at the Trusts hospital operations in the South West Midlands. Ideally you will be able to commence in August or September.
- Recent operational leadership across NHS Acute Medicine Specialities (ideally Cardiology) to at least Band 8C.
- A successful track record of providing strong visible leadership to improve operational performance
- Strong stakeholder engagement demonstrated through improved accountability and a team responsive to collaborative working to improve patient outcomes.
A DBS will be required for all NHS roles.
This role will be remunerated directly by the trust, at Band 8C AfC, with entitlement to paid holidays and sick leave.
