Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect (ERP Lead)
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect to lead the enterprise architecture for a major digital transformation.
This programme replaces a legacy ERP estate with a modern Dynamics 365 platform across Finance, Supply Chain, and CRM operations.
Supporting approximately 2,000 back-office users, the initiative has full C-suite backing and is scheduled for parallel design and staggered releases through 2027.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
- Technical Governance: Act as the technical authority for Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.
- Partner
Oversight: Review and critically challenge implementation partner designs to ensure solution blueprints remain scalable, maintainable, and aligned with standard platform capabilities.
- Process & Architecture Design: Lead end-to-end solution design across General Ledger, procurement, asset management, and inventory.
- Roadmap Governance: Track Microsoft product releases and evaluate upcoming features to keep the platform architecture future-proof.
- Hands-on Leadership: Provide Level 3 technical escalation support and mentor internal application and delivery teams.
- Peer Collaboration: Join a peer group of five internal Solutions Architects meeting bi-monthly to align cross-domain data, AI, and integration strategies.
- Technical & Systems Landscape
- Core Platform: Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (primary ERP focus) alongside Customer Engagement (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service) touchpoints.
