An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Ethics & Compliance Manager to join a collaborative and purpose-driven organisation within a newly created role. Reporting directly to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, this position has been created to take ownership of key compliance, ethics, and governance responsibilities across the organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building frameworks, improving processes, and operating autonomously within a varied and visible role. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, helping strengthen compliance culture, governance standards, and operational best practice.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance activities are proactive, practical, and embedded across the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day ethics and compliance activity across the organisation
- Oversee compliance areas including:
- Health & Safety
- Safeguarding
- Anti-bribery & corruption
- Modern slavery
We’re looking for an experienced compliance, ethics, governance, or regulatory professional who is confident operating independently within a broad and evolving role. You may come from:
- Compliance or regulatory management
- Audit or governance
- Ethics and risk
- Legal with a move into compliance
- Public sector, education, regulated, or corporate environments
You will likely bring:
- 5+ years’ experience within compliance, ethics, governance, audit, or regulatory management
- Experience building or managing compliance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Confidence operating autonomously
- Experience producing reports, policies, or governance documentation
- A practical and solutions-focused approach
- Experience supporting ISO or audit frameworks would be highly beneficial.
