Advisers and coaches are great, but sometimes a business just needs an operator who gets under the bonnet and sorts out the engine
We’re working on a strictly confidential search for a venture-backed B2B AI platform that has built incredible, category-defining tech and won marquee global brands.
The product works. The market wants it. Deals range from £100k to £500k across the UK, Europe, and the US.
What’s missing is the operational discipline to run sales properly.
Forecasting is hit and miss, pipeline stages need cleaning, and frameworks have come and gone without sticking. With enterprise sales cycles taking 9 to 12 months, there simply isn't time for more trial and error.
So, we are looking for a Fractional Chief Revenue Officer for an initial 6-month turnaround.
This isn't high-altitude consulting. It is 3 to 4 days a week initially, rolling your sleeves up, getting into HubSpot, building a trusted pipeline, and holding everyone accountable, including the founders.
The shape of the role:
- The mandate: Own revenue end to end, establish clear sales routines, and figure out the best route to market between direct enterprise sales and partner channels.
- The commitment: 3 to 4 days/week for the first two months, tapering to 2 to 3 days once the foundations are solid.
- The legacy: Build the system so it outlasts you, assess the internal talent, and help hire the permanent CRO who inherits a well-oiled machine.
The profile:
- A proven turnaround operator in B2B SaaS with real, verifiable track records.
- Deep understanding of direct enterprise sales and indirect agency/partner routes across the US and Europe.
- High EQ and genuine backbone: comfortable taking authority over commercial operations and holding founders accountable with a smile.
- Process-obsessed: someone who takes pride in clean data, reliable forecasting, and repeatable habits.
Due to the sensitive nature of the handover, this search is strictly under wraps. Full details and company background will be shared under NDA.
