Our client is seeking an experienced Data Transformation Delivery Manager (DTDL) to play a critical role within our Digital Transformation Programme (DTP). This programme aims to deliver a fully integrated approach to managing core business processes, incorporating a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and modernising several systems.

The DTDL will work closely with Project Managers, technical specialists, and business stakeholders to ensure data readiness, migration, quality, integration, governance, and reporting are embedded into programme delivery plans. The role is pivotal in managing dependencies across teams and projects, ensuring data capabilities are delivered to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a consolidated delivery plan covering all Data Transformation workstream activities across DTP projects.
  • Coordinate sequencing, dependencies, and resource needs across data domains, including migration, governance, integration, reporting, and architecture.
  • Act as the central delivery point for the Data Transformation workstream, maintaining alignment between technical specialists, Data Foundations, and programme teams.
  • Facilitate cross-domain stand-ups, planning sessions, resource reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support the Strategic Data Transformation Lead with roadmap management and capability planning.
  • Communicate deliverables, roles, and responsibilities across workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Provide clear and timely reporting for programme governance, PMO updates, and steering groups.
  • Champion consistent delivery practices and contribute to the maturation of data delivery methods.
Programme & Data Context

The data environment is complex and evolving. Historically, data teams have focused on operational use cases. Fundraising, CRM, and People Services data are newer areas, creating opportunities to work across broader data domains. Data governance and maturity are at an early stage, and this role will help upskill teams, embed best practices, and define what “good” looks like.

Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing delivery of data activities across complex, multi-project, multi-system programmes.
  • Strong background in programme/project delivery methodologies (Agile, hybrid, or Waterfall).
  • Demonstrable expertise in coordinating technical data activities such as migration, quality, integration, reporting, or platform implementation.
  • Experience mapping dependencies and managing risks, issues, and resources in a high-complexity environment.
  • Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
