An award-winning independent corporate finance advisory firm is looking for an entrepreneurial
Debt Advisory Partner to create and lead its Debt Advisory practice.
You'll join an ambitious, high-performing partnership with an outstanding reputation in the UK mid-market, where debt advisory is already in demand and opportunities are regularly referred externally.
Now, the firm is investing in a specialist who can transform that pipeline into a market-leading service line.
This is a rare opportunity to put your own stamp on a business, shape its future and be rewarded for the value you create.
Why This Opportunity?
If you've built a reputation for winning work, advising clients on complex funding solutions and developing long-term relationships with lenders and investors, this role offers something many larger firms simply can't...
Freedom to build.
Freedom to influence.
Freedom to make decisions.
Freedom to create your own legacy.
You'll have the backing of a highly respected Corporate Finance team, a strong referral network and genuine partner level autonomy, without the bureaucracy that often comes with larger organisations.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for launching and growing the firm's Debt Advisory offering, combining business development with hands-on transaction leadership.
Your responsibilities will include
- Building and leading a best-in-class Debt Advisory practice.
- Winning new clients through your own network and market profile.
- Advising entrepreneurs, corporates and private equity-backed businesses on funding strategy.
- Structuring acquisition finance, refinancing and growth capital solutions.
- Leading negotiations with banks, debt funds and alternative lenders.
- Advising on cash flow lending and structured finance solutions.
- Managing transactions from initial conversations through to successful completion.
- Working alongside Corporate Finance, Transaction Support and Transaction Tax Partners to maximise cross-referral opportunities.
- Becoming the recognised face of the firm's Debt Advisory proposition.
You're more than a technical expert.
You're a trusted adviser. A relationship builder. Someone clients pick up the phone to.
You'll bring
- A strong Debt Advisory, Leveraged Finance or Structured Finance background.
- Experience advising on UK mid-market transactions (£10m-£50m Enterprise Value).
- A demonstrable track record of originating advisory work through your own relationships.
- Strong connections across banks, alternative lenders, debt funds and private equity.
- Acquisition Finance
- Cash Flow Lending
- Structured Lending
- Growth Capital
- Board-level credibility with entrepreneurs, management teams and investors.
- A hands-on approach that sees transactions through from origination to completion.
A background combining banking and advisory experience would be highly advantageous.
Ready to Build Your Legacy?
This is more than another Partner role.
It's an opportunity to create one of the UK's leading mid-market Debt Advisory practices within an ambitious, award-winning advisory firm.
If you're commercially driven, entrepreneurial and excited by the prospect of building something exceptional, we'd love to hear from you.
