A fast-growing credit, analytics and technology business backed by a major international financial group is looking for a Credit Analyst to join its London-based team.

The company combines the best of finance, data science and technology to drive smarter, more responsible lending decisions across multiple UK consumer credit brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, influence strategy, and help shape the next generation of responsible lending models.

The Role

  • Develop and maintain affordability and credit risk models, rules, and policies
  • Support responsible lending and financial vulnerability initiatives
  • Use data and analytics to deliver actionable insight and optimise decisioning
  • Explore innovative credit solutions, including Open Banking / Open Finance
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders

About You

🎓 Background & Experience

  • Degree with strong quantitative or analytical focus
  • 2–3+ years in a credit risk or analytics role within UK consumer lending
  • Exposure to personal loans, credit cards, BNPL, or point-of-sale finance
  • Hands‑on experience with credit reference agency data and policy development
  • Strong analytical mindset – able to turn data into insight and business action
  • Confident with SAS, SQL or Python and advanced Excel skills
  • Commercially astute and able to balance risk vs. growth
  • Familiarity with Open Banking data or AWS Quicksight a plus
