The company combines the best of finance, data science and technology to drive smarter, more responsible lending decisions across multiple UK consumer credit brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, influence strategy, and help shape the next generation of responsible lending models.
The Role
- Develop and maintain affordability and credit risk models, rules, and policies
- Support responsible lending and financial vulnerability initiatives
- Use data and analytics to deliver actionable insight and optimise decisioning
- Explore innovative credit solutions, including Open Banking / Open Finance
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders
About You
🎓 Background & Experience
- Degree with strong quantitative or analytical focus
- 2–3+ years in a credit risk or analytics role within UK consumer lending
- Exposure to personal loans, credit cards, BNPL, or point-of-sale finance
- Hands‑on experience with credit reference agency data and policy development
- Strong analytical mindset – able to turn data into insight and business action
- Confident with SAS, SQL or Python and advanced Excel skills
- Commercially astute and able to balance risk vs. growth
- Familiarity with Open Banking data or AWS Quicksight a plus
