The Opportunity: We're supporting a well-established organisation embarking on a significant M&A programme and are looking for an experienced PMO Lead to play a pivotal role in its successful delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to establish and shape a new PMO function for a critical transformation programme. You'll have the opportunity to build the PMO capability from the ground up, ensuring the organisation has the structure, controls, plans and reporting needed to successfully deliver a complex M&A programme. You will be responsible for establishing governance, driving programme controls, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful integration planning and delivery across multiple workstreams.

About You: We're looking for an experienced PMO professional who is comfortable operating within large, complex transformation programmes. You'll ideally have:

  • Extensive experience establishing and leading PMO functions from the ground up within complex M&A programmes.
  • Strong governance, planning, reporting and programme controls expertise.
  • Experience working across multiple business workstreams and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • The confidence to challenge constructively and influence at executive level.
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure or other operationally complex, multi-site organisations would be advantageous, although we're open to candidates from a range of sectors.

The Package: 12-month fixed-term contract. Hybrid working (typically 2 to 3 days per week on site). Competitive salary of £80,000 to £85,000 plus benefits.
