My client, a leading independent provider of community healthcare services across the country, is looking for an ambitious and driven Chief Operating Officer to operationally lead the business.

The role holder is accountable for providing leadership to the multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring effective management, organisation, delivery, and quality of operations to the business at all times.

The role holder is responsible for creating and implementing the Operational strategy in line with the business strategy and being able to rapidly respond to challenges facing the operational running of services which recognises all models of service delivery across the UK.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations
  2. Identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth
  3. Present operational strategy recommendations to the CEO
  4. Drive service development, modernisation, and innovation across the divisions, promoting a culture of continuous service improvement
  5. Ensure that major incident, business continuity, and emergency planning arrangements as they relate to operational services are robust
  6. Present, facilitate, and lead assigned process improvement events using methods of culture-appropriate team building, team energizing, data gathering and analysis, problem solving, and project management
  7. Resolve problems related to the utilisation of facilities, equipment, and supplies for the organisation

Qualifications

  1. 10 years of executive experience
  2. Strategic planning and operational experience
  3. Change management with a transformational outlook
  4. Experience in call centres would be desirable
