We’re supporting a well-known, mission-driven UK organisation undergoing a major transformation across its portfolio and change function. With significant multi-year investment, the organisation is evolving how change is delivered - moving from fragmented projects to structured, strategic programmes. As part of this journey, there’s a critical need for an experienced Business Analyst to step in and conduct a focused “health check” on the Safety function.
You’ll act as an independent, objective lens into the Safety team - cutting through complexity to understand:
- What the function currently does vs what it’s intended to do
- How work flows across the team (end-to-end processes)
You’ll then translate this into clear, actionable recommendations to improve effectiveness.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Map current-state processes across the Safety function
- Analyse workflows, handoffs, and decision points
- Identify gaps in capability, structure, or operating model
- Challenge assumptions and surface root causes (not just symptoms)
- Provide evidence-based recommendations for improvement
- Help clarify the true need for additional resource (if any)
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who can cut through noise and ambiguity fast.
Essential:
- Strong Business Process Analysis experience (end-to-end mapping)
- Proven ability to diagnose organisational or service inefficiencies
- Confident stakeholder engagement - able to challenge constructively
- Clear methodology (e.g. process mapping, service design, BPMN, etc.)
- Experience delivering rapid, high-impact assessments
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Health
