I am seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand my client services to the NHS. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with key NHS stakeholders, and driving service adoption. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding my clients footprint within NHS trusts. It is important that this new person in the business has on-site presence, although there will be some remote and hybrid working. Particularly in the first 6 months, it will be pivotal to the success. This role would suit someone who is hands-on, driven, and has a track record of success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within NHS trusts and healthcare organisations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including NHS executives, service managers, and clinicians.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the NHS landscape.
  • Present and promote the company’s healthcare solutions to NHS partners through meetings, presentations, and networking events.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including clinical, operational, and commercial departments, to ensure tailored service offerings meet NHS needs.
  • Negotiate and finalise agreements with NHS partners, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Monitor NHS policies, funding structures, and healthcare regulations to adapt business strategies accordingly.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to enhance brand awareness and build new connections.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in NHS business development, sales, or account management.
  • Strong knowledge of NHS structures, commissioning processes, and service delivery models.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and develop strategic business approaches.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

My client is offering a good base salary of £50-£60k plus benefits and commission.
