Business Operations Lead - Remote (UK based only) - 8 - 10 week contract with the possibility of going permanent for the right candidate. £300 - £400 Per day (Inside IR35).

As the company continues to scale, they're looking for a Business Operations Associate to become a critical force multiplier for the leadership team. The Opportunity

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll take ownership of the operational systems, processes, and day-to-day activities that keep the organisation moving efficiently. This is not a strategy or consulting role. It's ideal for someone who takes genuine pride in execution, organisation, and building systems that simply work.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting senior leaders by owning and delivering operational activities that maximise their focus and effectiveness.
  • Conducting targeted research and industry mapping to accelerate decision-making.
  • Managing and improving key business processes including onboarding, offboarding, documentation, tooling, workflows, and operational logistics.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal operational requests and driving issues through to resolution.
  • Identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical improvements.
  • Leveraging AI tools and automation to eliminate manual work, improve quality, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Coordinating cross-functional activities across people, operations, product, and leadership teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Operations, Business Operations, People Operations, or similar role within a Seed or Series A startup.
  • Experience working within a fully remote, globally distributed team.
  • Strong organisational skills with a natural inclination towards process improvement.
  • Comfortable operating independently and taking ownership of outcomes.
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to: People Operations, Business Operations and logistics, Cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams.
  • A proactive, low-ego approach and willingness to handle both strategic and administrative responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn ambiguous requests into actionable outcomes.
  • AI-Native Mindset Required.
