In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy care to patients across outpatient, ward and day surgery settings, with a strong focus on orthopaedic pathways. Working closely with surgeons, nurses and other healthcare professionals, you will play a key part in ensuring every patient receives safe, effective and personalised treatment from pre-assessment through to post-operative recovery. This is an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist who is passionate about clinical excellence, patient education and continuous professional development within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assessing, diagnosing and treating patients in line with best practice and agreed clinical protocols.
  • Managing your own caseload across pre-assessment, peri-operative and outpatient services.
  • Developing and delivering individualised treatment plans to support recovery and mobility.
  • Educating patients and carers on exercises, rehabilitation plans and the safe use of mobility aids.
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate, confidential clinical records and contributing to audits and quality initiatives.
  • Supporting service development, clinical improvements and the implementation of new techniques.
  • Participating in weekend and bank holiday services as required.

What we’ll look for in you:

  • With your degree or diploma in Physiotherapy and current HCPC registration, you will also have recent post-graduate experience, ideally within musculoskeletal or orthopaedic settings.
  • Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centred approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning and professional development.
  • A friendly, professional manner and a genuine motivation to deliver outstanding patient care.

What you can expect in return:

  • A salary of £34,975 per annum.
  • An extensive range of wellbeing and lifestyle benefits.
  • 25 days annual leave (increasing with service) plus bank holidays.
  • The support you need to grow in your role.
