New and exciting change is taking place in our Sterile Services (CSSD) department at one of our flagship hospital sites in Emersons Green, Bristol. This is a permanent position supporting the Sterile Services Manager to ensure a continuously effective decontamination and sterile supplies service.

About the Role

Working in close collaboration with theatres, you will provide an effective service for the needs of surgeons and patients.

  • Provide an effective service for the needs of surgeons and patients in collaboration with theatres.
  • Assist with decontamination and preparation of sterile supplies in accordance with health and safety guidelines and COSHH legislation.
  • Work to prescribed standards to minimise risk to others.
  • Support the Sterile Services Manager in maintaining a continuously effective decontamination and sterile supplies service.

Responsibilities (selected)

  • Support decontamination and sterile supplies processes to ensure patient safety and readiness of instruments.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines (PPE) and COSHH legislation.

Shift Pattern

This is a permanent position (37.5 hpw).

  • Early – 07:00 to 15:00
  • Late – 11:00 to 19:00

Working Monday to Friday with 2 Saturday shifts per month. Potential Bank Holiday working, but not routine.
