How to prepare for a job interview at Practice Plus Group
✨Know Your Stuff
Make sure you brush up on the latest practices in sexual health and contraception. Familiarise yourself with common STIs, their symptoms, and screening processes. This will not only show your passion for the role but also demonstrate your commitment to providing top-notch care.
✨Showcase Your Experience
Even if you haven't worked in a prison environment before, highlight any relevant experience in hospitals or community settings. Talk about how you've managed patient care, especially in sensitive situations, and how that can translate to the unique challenges of working in a closed environment.
✨Be Ready for Scenario Questions
Prepare for questions that might put you in hypothetical situations related to patient care. Think about how you would handle a patient who is reluctant to discuss their sexual health or how you would coordinate care for someone with multiple needs. This shows your critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
✨Ask Thoughtful Questions
At the end of the interview, don’t forget to ask questions! Inquire about the team dynamics, ongoing training opportunities, or how they measure success in the role. This not only shows your interest but also helps you gauge if the environment is the right fit for you.
