About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at Heathrow IRC, an Immigration Removal Centre located in West Drayton. Heathrow IRC combines Colnbrook and Harmondsworth removals centres under one management structure, making it the largest immigration removal centre in Europe, with a capacity of 965 residents.
Hours: Monday - Sunday - 9am - 5pm based on 37.5 hours per week
Salary: This position is full time, you will receive an annual salary between £42,525 - £50,400 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis, and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing healthcare to patients, promoting health and well-being within the prisoner population.
- Responsible for assessment and caseload management of those referred into mental health services.
- Working as part of a primary and secondary care integrated model.
- Supporting your team to carry out comprehensive assessments, confidently communicating treatment options and initiating supportive care plans, working with individuals on a 1-2-1 basis alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team.
