Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our Mental Health team at HMP Preston, a category B Prison located in Preston. HMP Preston is a remand male prison aged 18+ with a capacity of 680. The senior nurse will be managing caseloads and dealing with crises, you will be based within the mental health team and you will also be required to see patients on the prison wings.
Hours
This role is based on 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm and 12.30 – 8.30pm; after completing probation we can look at working 37.5 hours over 4 days. 1 in 4 weekends.
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £43,609 – £49,175 per annum FTE – depending on experience.
