We are looking for a HR Operations Manager to join our fantastic HR team in our Health in Justice services, leading all aspects of HR administration and our team of HR administrators. You will support our services with all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, with an eye on process improvement.
You will work closely and build excellent relationships with colleagues managing payroll, pensions, HR information Systems, the wider Health in Justice HR team and our Operational Managers.
This is a busy, fast paced role, where you will be responsible for managing a high volume of processing activity, so we are looking for an experienced leader with a can do attitude to join us and help us take our HR Operations service forward. This role is hybrid, with home working and working from our Head office in Theale, Berkshire, one day per week.
Hours
You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm.
Salary
This is a full time position, and you’ll receive an annual salary of circa £45,000 per annum.

What you\’ll be doing
As our new HR Operations Manager, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Manage and lead the team of HR Administrators, offering effective leadership, support and development
- Have overall responsibility for the employee lifecycle, including in employment contract changes and pay changes
- Ensure full compliance with NHS and CQC standards relating to employee contracts, benefits, payroll etc
- Lead on the TUPE transfer of new staff into the business
- Be responsible for right to work compliance, including visa and sponsorship, and renewals of work permits
- Maintain and update contracts of employment and any amendments as necessary
- Support the renewal of professional registrations
- Be responsible for the administration of non financial benefits
- Act as the first point of contact for Subject Access Requests (SARS) and any GDPR queries
- Work closely with other areas of the business, including recruitment and post offer, payroll, pensions etc

As Our New HR Operations Manager, You Will Have
- Previous experience of leading a team within a HR environment, and any healthcare background would a beneficial
- Experience of overseeing the employee lifecycle
- Experience of using HR systems, such as iTrent or Workday
- Knowledge of visas and work permits
- Have a keen eye for detail and enjoy the compliance side of a role
- Any TUPE experience would be a bonus
