As a Sonographer with Practice Plus Group, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred ultrasound services. Working both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will ensure accurate diagnostics and compassionate care across a broad range of ultrasound procedures. We require a Sonographer who is qualified in MSK scanning to support our private pay service and to enable us to offer MSK scanning to GPs. This role offers autonomy, clinical variety, and the opportunity to work alongside leading professionals in a modern, patient-focused setting. If you are a practitioner outside of the local area we would welcome your application and there is a generous relocation package available to support you. You must, however, have extensive UK experience.
As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will produce a high standard of ultrasonography practice, undertaking a broad range of techniques while being flexible in adapting to the requirements of all patients and examination scenarios.
Main duties of the job:
- You will be an HCPC registered Radiographer with a diploma in medical ultrasound and experience in a broad range of ultrasonography competencies.
- Your ability to work autonomously and experience of independent reporting is essential in this role.
- You will also need to be able to manage in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the ability to produce high quality images and succinct and accurate reporting.

Essential:
- Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma (Pg Cert/Pg Dip)
- HCPC Registration
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified Sonographer, ideally in an acute care setting
- Broad competencies across general ultrasound techniques
- Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver independent reports
Desirable:
- Previous experience in the private or independent healthcare sector
