Flexible days - we run lists 6 days per week, Mon - Sat. Generous Daily Rate for any extra days worked. If you’re relocating - we offer a generous Relocation Allowance. About the Role:
- Consultant Anaesthetist, Plymouth; full-time, 40 hours per week / 4x10 hour days; salary competitive; flexible days; generous daily rate; relocation allowance.
- We are open to both part‑time and full‑time consultants to work collaboratively with 30 like‑minded Anaesthetists across the 9 Hospitals within the group.
What you’ll be doing:
- Anaesthetising patients for the different procedures we offer at our site in Plymouth – from ophthalmology to orthopaedics, and from gynaecology to general surgery.
- Involvement in the administrative and managerial aspects of the department, and in the development of less experienced colleagues.
What we’ll look for in you:
- Fully Qualified, GMC‑registered Anaesthetists with broad clinical experience in all forms of anaesthetics.
- The ability to carry out procedures unsupervised and offer expert advice on all issues relating to this specialist area.
- Excellent communication and team‑working skills.
- An innovative approach and an eagerness to embrace new ways of working.
