We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our team on a full-time basis. Our Pharmacy opens Monday to Saturday from 08:30am - 16:30pm (5 day working week, Saturdays on rotation). Our CQC rated Good hospital in Southampton specialises in planned surgery for NHS, private and insured patients, and we offer high quality treatment in a wide range of specialties.

What you’ll be doing:
- You will be expected to support the provision of pharmacy services for all patients at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Southampton.
- This will include ensuring that prescribing and administering of medication adheres to best evidence and practice, providing coordinated medicine information to patients as part of the discharge planning process as well as post-discharge care to patients.
What we’ll look for in you:
- You will be an experienced GPhC registered Pharmacist with knowledge of the legal requirements for the supply and storage of medications and controlled drugs.
- You will have leadership experience to be able to oversee the team when the lead Pharmacist is off.
- It would be an advantage if you have experience of working in a hospital environment but it is not essential.
