We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a category B Prison located in London. In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency.
Hours
- Monday to Fridays: 07:30 - 17:30
- Weekends & Bank Holidays: 08:30 - 17:30
Salary
This position is full time working 37.5 hrs per week and you’ll receive an annual salary up to £45,331 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you’ll be doing
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service. Work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, which will be part of a comprehensive healthcare package, based on the prison service’s needs. Deliver the highest standard of care to clients in line with National Guidelines.

Qualifications Required
- NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
- Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
