We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our healthcare team at HMP Belmarsh, a category A Prison located in South East London. The prison houses around 675 patients with a variety of needs including highly complex and acute mental health.
Within this role, you will be supporting a number of high-profile patients across the general population and a 33-bed inpatient ward. You will be joining our experienced integrated mental health team, including another Psychiatrist who already works on site.
We are looking for a dynamic Psychiatrist who can be flexible in the way they work and adapt quickly. You must be able to build a rapport with both officers and patients, as well as work alongside the matrons to lead the teams.
- Hours: 3.5 days a week / 28 hours to be worked between Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, on a job share.
- Salary: You’ll receive an annual salary up to £196,840 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

- You will be able to attend monthly Consultant's meetings and 1:1 clinical supervision.
