We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join team at HMP Leeds, a catergory B men's prison, located at Gloucester Terrace in the Armley area of Leeds in West Yorkshire.

Hours

The site currently offers Monday - Friday: 8am - 4pm

37.5 hours per week

Salary

This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary from £29,264 to £33,510 per annum - depending on experience.

What you’ll be doing

  • You will contribute to the delivery of administration services in a senior role within an office setting, providing administrative support to the healthcare team, wider Practice Plus Group organisation and the prison.
  • The role will include working within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls and general office duties
  • Manage the administration team - supporting and delegating on tasks, leading team meeting & manage the complaints process
  • Deliver the completion of data spreadsheets in relation to referrals, finance and any other data requirements

Qualifications, skills and experience required

  • NVQ 2 Business Administration or Equivalent - desired
  • Wide ranging experience of office routines and procedures including arranging meetings/appointments
  • Experienced Minute taker
  • Healthcare experience - desired
  • Good written & oral communication skills
  • Line management experience
