We have an exciting opportunity to join our Regional team in West Yorkshire covering HMP Wealstun, HMP Leeds and HMP Wakefield.

Hours: Full time, core business hours, 37.5 hours per week. This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary of £51,643 to £58,012 depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

As a Neurodiversity Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

  • Provide direct and/or indirect support for those presenting with neurodiversity/learning difficulties
  • Provide support for those with long‑term neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s and/or Dementia and will support the IMHT with training in relevant areas.
  • Provide guidance to prison colleagues to inform prison plans and improve prisoner management and safety.
  • Help shape and inform the neurodiversity and learning disability pathways within Practice Plus Group and liaise with NHSE colleagues to ensure robust clinical practice.

Qualifications required:

  • Qualified RMN / RNLD / Allied Health Professional / Psychologist and hold appropriate professional registration
  • Evidence of 3 years post registration study / continuing professional development e.g. Mentorship in Practice
  • Evidence of experience of managing cases & caseloads
  • Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
