Are you an organised and friendly individual who enjoys being at the heart of a busy team? We are looking for a receptionist to join our patient-focused team, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:45-13:45. You will play a vital role in welcoming patients and supporting the smooth running of our diagnostic imaging and MSK services. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a caring and professional environment where no two days are the same.
As one of the first points of contact for patients, you will ensure every visitor receives a warm, professional welcome. You will manage patient appointments, answer telephone enquiries, and assist with general administration tasks that help our services run efficiently.
Main duties of the job:
- Greeting and attending patients for their diagnostic and MSK appointments.
- Preparing clinic paperwork and ensuring appointments are ready for the following day.
- Handling telephone and face-to-face enquiries, directing them to the right member of the team.
- Supporting colleagues by maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Assisting with chaperoning duties and general office administration when required.
We will provide full training and ongoing support so you can confidently deliver the high standard of care and service our patients expect.

- Experience in a healthcare setting would be an advantage, but it’s not essential; we will provide the training you need to succeed.
