About The Role\\nUNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE\\n+ MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE\\nWe have a fantastic opportunity for a Substance Misuse Healthcare Assistant to join the team at HMP Leeds, a busy category B prison located in Leeds Centre.  \\nThis is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. This role offers excellent developmental opportunities and is a great environment to build on your experience within primary care. We are looking for someone with a real passion for helping others – this role allows you to make a real difference to patients! \\n\\nHours:\\n\\nThis is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, working a variety of shifts between Monday and Sunday.

This role involves working weekends and nights. \\n \\nShifts are 07:00 – 20:30 and 20:00 – 07:30. Weekends are around 2 per month.\\n\\nSalary:\\n\\nThis position is full time , you’ll receive an annual salary of up to £29,723 per annum – depending on experience.\\nHow will we support you?\\n• Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course\\n• Competency framework\\n• Regional and national career development opportunities\\n• Our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs\\n• Support from the wider team\\nCandidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks\\n\\nWhat you'll be doing\\nAs our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary.
