We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development Writer to join our Health in Justice team here at Practice Plus Group.
Job Highlights

Salary & Hours
- This position is full time, 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £45,000–£50,000 depending on experience.
- Hours are usually 9 am–5 pm, Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide management and leadership to the bid writers within the team, and identify opportunities for development and growth
- Work on complex writing and support the team with drafting responses as needed, ensuring that our bids have the best chance of success
- Collaborate closely with colleagues (clinical and operational) to gather information and evidence for tender responses
- Offer coaching on writing styles and techniques to the team
- Quality‑check writing and identify areas for improvement
- Build strong relationships with the Senior Leadership Team and support the team in SLT meetings
- Occasionally visit our services across the country, as well as meetings in Reading or London

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
- Experience within a writing‑related area, such as technical writing, report writing or journalism
- Ideally, experience writing bids within healthcare, either the NHS or other private providers
- Proven skills in producing and editing reports, written copy, articles or proposals / tender content
- Any line management experience would be beneficial
- Knowledge of, or experience with prisons or the criminal justice system would be beneficial
