About The Role
Are you a manager looking for a new challenge within a healthcare setting? If so, look no further as this 6 month secondment could be the job for you! As a dedicated Operations Manager, you will be a part of an ever-changing work environment looking after our Devon OOH (Out of Hours) and CAS (Clinical Assessment Service).
Our telephone triage services and out-of-hours services provide advice, information and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period, when their own GP surgery is closed.
You will be Line managing the operations Lead, consisting of coordinators, receptionists, drivers and other non-clinical staff. You will ensure that the teams are performing efficiently, conducting regular appraisals, training and relevant recruitment as and when required. You will actively monitor and report on the service's performance and needs.
As a leading contact, you will be motivating our staff to hit KPIs and develop even further so that we can give our team and patients alike a quality service. You will ensure your teams conduct compliancy checks, annual appraisals and policy audits are complete whilst ensuring all ops leads and their teams fully understand the importance of their role in ensuring effective, efficient, caring and positive delivery of service to the patient.
