About The Role
Are you an experienced surgeon who enjoys getting on with the job of treating patients, with great outcomes. Our expectations of the successful candidate are high, but so will be your clinical skills and competency. You will be joining a team committed to delivering the highest standards in patient care.
Delivering mostly NHS activity, with a small but growing private healthcare offering, you will be joining a team of consultants across a number of specialties treating in excess of 15,000 patients a year. As a UK registered medical professional, with a listing on the Specialist GMC register, we will support you with your ongoing CPD and career development. We are also open to Bank applications.
What you’ll be doing
Providing an onsite urology service to meet the needs of patients treated at the St Mary’s Surgical Centre in Portsmouth. Whilst the working week will comprise an agreed number of sessions based on the total number of contracted hours, working patterns will be flexible to meet the requirements of the unit.

- You will need to be a qualified urological surgeon on the Specialist Register of the GMC (FRCS or equivalent)
- A broad general experience of urology with a demonstrable expertise in endoscopic techniques
- Ability to teach clinical and practical skills
