An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our multi-discipline medical team. You will be a highly valued member of our team bringing your expertise and skills in Gastroenterology and Endoscopic procedures. You'll provide high quality gastrointestinal services to patients from the local area. As a Practice Plus Group Consultant, you will have access to great facilities in a well-structured and relaxed environment. Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures to referred NHS and private patients. You will be expected to deliver upper and lower day case gastroenterology services, principally carried out under local anaesthesia or without sedation.

We have strong control processes to ensure we maintain high standards of hygiene and above all, we're passionate about giving our patients the best possible care and helping them feel better, faster.
You will have full and specialist GMC registration as well as evidence of subspecialty training. In addition, you will have experience of working in a specialist department treating upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions and the ability to offer an expert opinion on a range of problems in elective gastroenterology, drawing on substantial experience in the speciality.
Salary is competitive, but substantive employment only to be considered. In time, consultants joining Practice Plus Group will be guided through the process to achieve accreditation with BUPA; applicants already with this accreditation are considered favourably and encouraged to highlight this in their application.
