Bank – Theatre Healthcare Assistant
Practice Plus Group is seeking a Bank – Theatre Healthcare Assistant to provide essential support on an ad-hoc basis at Emersons Green Hospital, Bristol.
About The Role:
- Make a difference for every patient
The role is a bank/casual position with flexible working hours between Monday to Saturday from 07:30 to 17:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist members of the theatre department and set up theatres for patient treatment.
- Investigate and document the patient pathway, ensuring all steps are followed and consent is obtained.
- Confirm patient preparedness, perform necessary pre‑treatment checks and maintain high standard of care during procedures.
- Accurately update patient records and monitor the patient pathway.
- Maintain health, safety and hygiene standards in the theatre, identify potential hazards and report them promptly.
- Work as part of a committed and focused team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous surgical or hospital/clinical experience.
- Completed NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills, confident speaking with staff and patients.
- Computer literate, proficient with MS Office and able to learn new systems quickly.
This is a Bank / casual position with flexible working hours.
