About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner (APP) to join our clinical team at the Practice Plus Group MSK & Spinal Service in Lincolnshire on a permanent full or part time basis. We provide a specialist rapid‑access outpatient clinical assessment and treatment service for patients presenting with both peripheral and spinal musculoskeletal conditions.
You will work closely with our experienced clinical team which includes the Clinical Operations Manager, Clinical Lead, nine Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners, Orthopaedic Consultants and a Spinal Neurosurgeon.
We currently operate within seven existing health centres and hospitals throughout Lincolnshire and are looking to develop further locations in the region. Our clinics are in Lincoln (North Hykeham), Louth, Skegness, Spilsby, Wragby, Boston and Old Leake. Depending on your hours and home location, you may be asked to travel between these locations. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential; expenses for travel will be covered.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a caseload of spinal and peripheral patients with varying diagnoses and/or highly complex needs using evidence‑based and/or patient‑centred principles.
- Responsible for organising appropriate diagnostic work‑up for patients and referring them to a suitable secondary‑care service when indicated.
- Working closely with the Clinical Lead and Clinical Operations Manager to achieve service targets, including supporting clinical education and audit.
- Acting as a source of expertise by providing advice to patients and other healthcare professionals, GPs and Consultants.
- Performing steroid injections where appropriately qualified.
What We’ll Look For In You
- Qualified HCPC physiotherapist.
- Peripheral joint/soft tissue injection qualification is desirable (not essential).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to your own transport.
- Previous experience in orthopaedic triage, APP or First Contact Practitioner roles.
- At least 5 years’ experience, including MSK and outpatient roles.
- Full‑time or part‑time permanent role; up to 37.5 hours per week available.
